Directions

From the A96:

  1. At Craibstone Roundabout, follow the signs for the airport
  2. Take the exit for the airport, continue through the first set of traffic lights
  3. At the second set of lights, turn right into Argyll Road
  4. At the next roundabout take the first left, following signs for the Long Stay Car Park
  5. The car park is 300 yards down the road on the left

Arrival instructions

When you arrive at the Aberdeen Airport Long Stay car park, here’s what to do:

  1. Enter and Take a Ticket: Drive up to the entry barrier. A ticket should be issued automatically. Take the ticket, you’ll need it when you exit. (If no ticket is dispensed, press the intercom button for assistance.)
  2. Park Your Vehicle: Find any open, marked bay and park your car. You keep your keys, so you can lock up and take your keys with you.
  3. Catch the Shuttle to Terminal: Head to the nearest shuttle bus stop within the car park. The free courtesy coach will pick you up and take you to the terminal in about two minutes.

Please allow a bit of extra time for parking and transferring to the terminal, especially during peak travel times. This ensures you arrive at the terminal with plenty of time for check-in and security.

Return instructions

When you return from your trip and arrive back at Aberdeen Airport:

  1. Shuttle Back to Car Park: After exiting the arrivals area, follow signs for ground transportation and catch the Long Stay Car Park shuttle bus outside the terminal. The shuttle will take you back to the long stay parking area.
  2. Pick Up Your Car: Locate your vehicle where you left it and load your luggage.
  3. Exit the Car Park: Drive to the exit barrier and insert the ticket you took on entry. The barrier will recognise your prepaid parking and lift automatically. (If the barrier doesn’t rise, press the intercom for help.)

That’s it, you’re on your way home! If you have any issues or your travel was extended, the staffed intercom at the exit can assist you 24/7.

  • DDA-Compliant Buses: All courtesy shuttle buses are DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant, meaning they are wheelchair-accessible and have low-floor entry or ramps. The shuttle drivers are also happy to help with boarding if needed.

If you require any additional assistance, you can contact the car park staff via the intercom on arrival, and they will be ready to help ensure a smooth parking experience.

 

Transfer details

Courtesy coaches run to and from the airport terminal on demand from 04:00 until after the last flight of the day. Journey time is approximately two minutes.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Trailers are not permitted. Each parking space is for a single vehicle only.

  • Vans, minibuses and larger vehicles are permitted provided they fit within one standard parking bay. Vehicles that exceed bay dimensions or require more than one space may need to make alternative arrangements.

  • Motorcycles are generally accepted and usually charged at the same rate as cars. Availability of dedicated motorcycle parking can vary, so it is advisable to check at the time of booking.

  • If you are uncertain whether your vehicle meets the requirements, please contact the parking customer service team in advance to avoid any issues on arrival.

Opening times

Courtesy Coaches: The Long Stay car park provides free on-demand shuttle transfers to and from the terminal. Buses run on a continuous loop from 04:00 each day until after the last flight arrives. In practice, this means whether your flight is early morning or late at night, the shuttle service will be available to get you to the terminal or back to your car.

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
