Getting There
To reach the North Terminal via train, simply arrive at the mainline railway station at the South Terminal and take the free shuttle service across to the North.

Push chairs and child seats
The child-friendly folks at Gatwick’s North Terminal will ease the burden on parents with small children by making pushchairs available for the trip between the plane and the arrivals hall – where their own pram will be delivered. Simply collect one as you disembark, then return it to the baggage hall once you’ve retrieved your own. Passengers flying from the North Terminal can take their own prams and child seats through security and check them in at the gate.
Family assistance lanes
These lanes give extra help to families travelling with young kids in buggies when passing through security. Just look out for the 'Family Assistance' lane signs after you check in at the North Terminal. The lanes also operate on your return to Gatwick.

Area for kids
Gatwick North Terminal has a special area for children that offers play zones and TV lounges for children of all ages. There’s seating to give the grown-ups a break, too. Find it airside, behind Boots in the North Terminal.
Charging mobile devices
The North Terminal offers ChargeBox kiosks where you can boost your smartphone’s battery as you wait to fly. The service consists of a secure locker equipped with charging leads and adaptors for most popular handsets. Baby changing facilities
These facilities are highlighted by either a bottle sign or baby care symbol. Find them in the check-in area, as you head to the gates, in the transfer area and after passport control in arrivals. There are also fold-down tables provided in some male and female toilets.

Luggage Lockers
If you’ve got a long wait for your flight, but don’t want to be burdened with bags, simply head to one of the luggage lockers. These cost around £8.00 per item per day and are available 24 hours a day. Find them in the Arrivals area of the North Terminal.
Pharmacies
If you have a last-minute medical issue, Boots has pharmacies before and after security in the North Terminal. Opening hours are: 5:00am to 7:00pm before security and 4:00am to 9:00pm airside. Both have pharmacies.
