Directions

Finding JetParks 3 is straightforward, as it’s just outside the main airport grounds. If you’re using a sat-nav, enter postcode M22 5GX for direct guidance. Below are step-by-step driving directions from the M56 motorway (the main route to Manchester Airport):

  1. From the M56: Exit the M56 at Junction 5, following signs for Manchester Airport Terminals 1 and 3.

  2. Initial Traffic Lights: As you approach the first set of traffic lights, keep to the left lanes signposted for Terminal 3, Wilmslow, Wythenshawe, and Gatley (A555). This will lead you onto Ringway Road West.

  3. Straight Ahead: Continue straight through the second set of traffic lights (you’ll pass a business park on your left). At the third set of lights (signposted for Terminal 3), keep left, following signs for Wilmslow and Heald Green.

  4. Airport Relief Road: Continue along Ringway Road West as it becomes the new Manchester Airport Relief Road.

  5. Turn for JetParks 3: At the fourth set of lights, turn right toward Wilmslow/Styal, then immediately take the first right onto the access road for JetParks 3 and JetParks Plus. Follow the signs for JetParks 3 until you reach the car park entrance barrier.

    JetParks 3 is clearly signposted along the route. Once you reach the car park, you’ll see the entry barriers and signage for JetParks 3.

Arrival instructions

Upon arriving at the car park:

  1. Enter the Car Park: Drive up to the entrance barrier. The Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system will scan your vehicle’s registration plate and confirm your booking. The barrier will lift automatically to let you in. (Tip: If for any reason the barrier doesn’t raise, don’t press the ticket button – instead, press the intercom and a member of staff will assist by verifying your booking.)

  2. Park Your Car: Once inside, find an empty parking bay and park your vehicle. Grab your luggage and double-check that your car is secure (windows closed, no valuables left visible). You keep your car keys with you.

  3. Catch the Shuttle to the Terminal: Head to the nearest clearly-marked shuttle bus stop within the car park. Shuttles run every 15 minutes, so you’ll never wait long. Hop on the bus for a quick ride to your departure terminal. Remember: Allow yourself a bit of extra time (we suggest at least 30 minutes) to park and catch the shuttle so you arrive at your terminal in good time.

Return instructions

When you arrive back:

  1.  Shuttle Back to JetParks 3: After your flight, follow the signs to the airport’s designated JetParks bus pick-up point outside your terminal (T1, T2, or T3). Board the shuttle bus back to JetParks 3. Buses run 24/7, so even if your flight is late at night, there will be a bus to bring you back to the car park.

  2. Collect Your Car & Exit: The bus will drop you off back at the JetParks 3 parking area where you originally left your car. Load your luggage into your vehicle, and you’re ready to head home. Drive to the exit barrier – the ANPR system will again read your plate and open the barrier automatically. If the barrier doesn’t open, just press the help/intercom button and the 24-hour staff will assist you. Then simply drive home safely.

That’s it! The process is designed to be self-service and stress-free, so you can continue your journey without any hassle.

  3. Travel Time: The ride to the terminals is quick – typically around 7 to 10 minutes depending on traffic within the airport. JetParks 3 is very close to Manchester Airport, so transfer times are short.
  4. All Terminals Covered: The shuttles from JetParks 3 go to Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Just board the next bus and it will take you to the correct terminal (the drivers or signage will indicate which terminals the bus serves, but generally the route covers all).
  5. No Extra Cost: The shuttle transfer is free and included in the cost of your parking booking.
  6. Easy to Find: Shuttle bus stops are clearly marked in the car park and at each terminal (look for signs for “JetParks” or “JetParks 3”). When you return, just head to the same bus stop area outside your terminal.
  7. Accessible Buses: As mentioned in the Accessibility section, all shuttle vehicles accommodate wheelchairs, prams, and have room for luggage, making the transfer comfortable for everyone.
  8. Different Return Terminal: If you happen to fly back into a different terminal than you departed from, no worries – simply catch any JetParks shuttle bus from the terminal you arrive at. All JetParks buses loop through the terminals and back to the JetParks 3 car park.

    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 72 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period begins at the pre-booked arrival time you select when you make your reservation.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or change your booking at least 72 hours in advance, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
