Directions

From the M56

  1. Leave the M56 at Junction 5 and keep right, following the signs for Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
  2. At the traffic lights go straight ahead for Terminal 1, passing the Hilton Hotel on your left.
  3. At the roundabout go straight ahead, avoiding the ramp-up to Terminal 1 Departures.
  4. At the next roundabout take the first exit and go straight ahead to the next roundabout.
  5. At this roundabout continue straight on to the Drop & Go Arrivals area.

Arrival instructions

Arriving at Manchester Airport Drop & Go:

  1. At the entrance the ANPR system will automatically lift the barrier.
  2. Pull into a bay and drop your keys at the kiosk.
  3. Take your luggage and proceed to your terminal.
  4. For terminal 3 it is a 5-minute walk and terminals 1 & 2 a shuttle bus will run every 10 minutes.
  5. A fully-insured Drop & Go driver will park your car for you. 

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to park your car and make your way to the airport terminal. 

Return instructions

Returning to Manchester Airport Drop & Go:

  1. Collect your luggage & head for the carpark.
  2. Collect your car keys from the locker.
  3. Proceed to the Drop & Go Returns area, where your car will be waiting for you.

Important information

Additional charges will apply for arriving later or earlier than your pre-booked arrival time.

Security

With the Manchester Airport Drop & Go service, you can be assured your car is properly looked after. Manchester Airport Drop & Go offers fully secure parking facilities with 24-hour staff, CCTV and barrier controls.

Disabled facilities

This service is suitable for passengers with reduced mobility, offering a quick drop-off process and easy access to terminal transfers. Note: Terminal 3 is around a 10-minute walk from the car park.

Transfer details

For Terminals 1 & 2:
A free shuttle bus runs approximately every 10 minutes.
Journey time to Terminal 1: around 2 minutes
Journey time to Terminal 2: around 5 minutes

For Terminal 3:
No shuttle is needed. Simply take your luggage and walk - it’s no more than a 5-minute walk to the terminal.

Vehicle restrictions

When using Drop & Go parking, please be aware of the following restrictions and possible extra charges:

  • Vehicle height limit: Vehicles must be no taller than 6ft 6in (2 metres).

  • No trailers allowed: Trailers cannot be brought into the Drop & Go area.

  • Arrival time limits: If you arrive earlier or later than your pre-booked time, additional charges may apply.

    Motorcyclists can pre-book parking at Drop & Go by calling 0808 169 7030.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This car park is Semi-Flexible:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • If your booking is due to start within 4 days of your booking date then unfortunately, once booked, you will not be able to cancel or amend your booking, and it will be non-refundable.
        If you are booking further in advance you can cancel or amend your booking up to 4 days before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 4 days before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
