Directions

From the M56

  1. Leave the M56 at Junction 5 and keep right, following the signs for Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
  2. As you approach the traffic lights keep in the left lanes signposted for Terminal 3, Wilmslow, Wythenshawe and Gatley (A555).
  3. Follow Ringway Road West to the second set of traffic lights.
  4. Continue straight on, passing a business park on your left.
  5. At the third set of traffic lights turn right, signposted to Terminal 3 and Car Rental Return.
  6. Continue straight on and the car park entrance is the first right after the zebra crossing.

Arrival instructions

Arriving at Manchester Airport:

  1. At the entrance to Manchester Airport Mid Stay car park, the ANPR system will automatically open the barrier for you.
  2. Find a space and park,keeping your keys.
  3. Take your luggage and walk to the terminal. 

For Terminal 3 it is a 3-minute walk, for Terminal 1 it is a 10-minute walk.

Return instructions

Returning to Manchester Airport:

  1. Collect your luggage.
  2. Return on foot to the car park.
  3. Find your car in the same spot as where you left it.
  4. At the exit, the ANPR system will automatically lift the barrier for you.

Manchester Airport Mid Stay offers fully secured parking with several measures in place to protect your vehicle throughout your trip.

Security features include:

  • Barrier-controlled entry and exit using ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition)

  • 24-hour on-site staff presence

  • Security fencing surrounding the car park

  • Full CCTV coverage across the site

Your vehicle remains on-site in a monitored, access-controlled environment until your return.

Transfer details

No need to wait for shuttle bus transfers. Manchester Mid Stay car park is a 3 to 10-minute walk from Terminals 1 and 3, depending on which terminal you are flying from.

Vehicle restrictions

The Mid Stay car park at Manchester Airport has the following vehicle restrictions:

  • Maximum height: 6ft 6in (2 metres)

  • Trailers are not permitted

Terms and Conditions

  1. This car park is Semi-Flexible:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • If your booking is due to start within 4 days of your booking date then unfortunately, once booked, you will not be able to cancel or amend your booking, and it will be non-refundable.
        If you are booking further in advance you can cancel or amend your booking up to 4 days before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 4 days before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
