Directions

From London:

  1. Leave the M11 at Junction 8a. Follow the road for just over 1 mile, take the Stansted Airport exit and branch left.
  2. At Bassingbourn roundabout take the 3rd exit following signs to the Mid Stay Car Park.
  3. At the next roundabout, take the first exit. The Mid Stay car park is situated immediately in front.

From Cambridge:

  1. Leave the M11 at Junction 8. At Priory Wood roundabout take the 3rd exit, merge onto the A120 and branch left.
  2. At Bassingbourn roundabout take the 3rd exit following signs to the Mid Stay Car Park.
  3. At the next roundabout, take the first exit. The Mid Stay car park is situated immediately in front.

Arrival instructions

 

  1. Drive up to the barrier at the Mid Stay car park - your number plate will be automatically recognised for entry.
  2. Park in any available space and keep your keys.
  3. Head to the shuttle bus pick-up point for your transfer to the terminal.

Return instructions

 

 

  1. Take the shuttle bus back to the Mid Stay car park.
  2. Return to your vehicle and drive to the exit barrier.
  3. The barrier will lift automatically, allowing you to head straight home.

Important information

Transfers run every 10 minutes, taking around 7 minutes to reach the terminal. You’ll park your own car, keep your keys, and simply hop on the free bus to the terminal for a smooth start to your journey.

Disabled facilities

The car park's shuttle bus is accessible and the car park has several blue badge bays available on a first come, first served basis.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Most standard cars are accepted, provided they fit within a standard bay (2.4m x 4.8m) and under the 3.5m height barrier.

  • Vehicles exceeding these dimensions or commercial vehicles are not permitted.

  • Trailers are not accepted within Stansted Airport’s Mid Stay car park.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This car park is Semi-Flexible:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • If your booking is due to start within 4 days of your booking date then unfortunately, once booked, you will not be able to cancel or amend your booking, and it will be non-refundable.
        If you are booking further in advance you can cancel or amend your booking up to 4 days before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 4 days before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
