Directions

From the M11:

  1. Exit at J8a or J8 depending on what direction you’re heading from.
  2. Follow the road for just over one mile and take the Stansted Airport exit and branch left.
  3. Take the second exit on the roundabout.
  4. Take the third exit on the next roundabout, following signs to the Short Stay car park.
  5. Take the second entrance on the left, signposted Meet & Greet.

Arrival instructions

On arrival to the airport:

  1. Drive to the meet and greet area in the Short Stay car park, located right by the main terminal.
  2. Approach the barrier and your vehicle will activate a call to the customer service staff who will provide parking instructions.
  3. The barrier will raise.
  4. Once parked in the relevant lane, secure your vehicle and take your keys to the Meet & Greet Reception Office.
  5. Take the three-minute walk to the terminal.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete the vehicle hand over before heading to the terminal.

Return instructions

On return to the car park:

  1. Go to the Meet & Greet Office.
  2. Staff will return your keys and direct you to your car.
  3. Collect your car and exit the car park.

Important information

Please ensure you read the following points to ensure a smooth drop off.

  • All vehicles must have a valid MOT.

Security

There's no need to worry about your car while you're away; it will be parked in a secure on-airport car park that has CCTV and manned patrols.

Disabled facilities

Meet and greet is suitable for Blue Badge holders, offering an easy and convenient drop off directly by the terminal. This makes it a practical choice for travellers who may require reduced walking distances or additional support.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Maximum vehicle height is 2.0 metres, or 6 ft 6 in, vehicles above this limit cannot be accepted.

  • Trailers are not permitted at Stansted Meet and Greet.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This car park is Semi-Flexible:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • If your booking is due to start within 4 days of your booking date then unfortunately, once booked, you will not be able to cancel or amend your booking, and it will be non-refundable.
        If you are booking further in advance you can cancel or amend your booking up to 4 days before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 4 days before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
